Alberto Miguel Diez

Alberto Miguel Diez holds a Ph.D. in Production and Computing Engineering from the University of León, awarded with the highest academic distinction (Sobresaliente Cum Laude). He also earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s in Cybersecurity Research from the same institution. His research career began during the final year of his undergraduate studies within the University of León’s Robotics Group. Today, his main research lines focus on the intersection of cybersecurity and machine learning, an area in which he developed his doctoral dissertation and has actively contributed to various R&D projects.

On the academic front, he has extensive teaching experience across multiple undergraduate and Master’s degree programs at the University of León. Over the years, he has been affiliated with the university in various research and teaching positions, including predoctoral researcher, senior research technician, and substitute professor.
